Cradles 2 Crayons Club At Parker

Assembling Winter Accessory Packs

Members of the Cradles to Crayons Club gathered recently to help give back to the local community. With the temperatures dropping rapidly, clothing insecurity is a rising concern. To that end, these Upper School students got together to assemble Winter Accessory Packs, including gloves, hats and wish notes for the nonprofit Cradles to Crayons.

Volunteering at The Giving Factory

In the 2024-2025 school year the Cradles to Crayons Club at Parker volunteered at the giving factory where they sorted and packaged donated children's items which included clothing, books, toys and school supplies. This was a successful trip and a great oppurtunity to get involved.

Cradles to Crayons Share the Warmth Drive

In the following weeks the club will host the Cradles to Crayons Share the Warmth Drive at Parker. They are collecting new or gently used clothes, shoes, books and outerwear in purple donation bins near the Webster and Clark Street entrances. The Cradles to Crayons Gear Up for Winter initiative supplies winter gear to local children whose families struggle to afford these expensive items.
